Pilot Project Sistema.Bio
A collaboration under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Forward7 Initiative and Sistema.bio. PT BKN acts as the implementing partner in Indonesia for a pilot of 400 modern biodigesters to expand clean energy access for smallholder farmers. Locations include Tana Toraja in South Sulawesi and East Java.

How we ensure credibility
Projects operate under the Indonesia Domestic Biogas Programme, which has been certified on the Gold Standard Impact Registry since 2013. The programme applies TPDDTEC v3.1 and the methodology for animal manure management and biogas use for thermal energy generation v1.1. Average emission reduction is about 2.5 tCO₂e per digester each year. Registry identifiers include PoA-1172, VPA-1174, and VPA-5303.
