IDBP has been certified under the Gold Standard Impact Registry since 2013. The programme applies the following methodologies. Technology and Practices to Displace Decentralized Thermal Energy Consumption TPDDTEC version 3 point 1 and the methodology for animal manure management and biogas use for thermal energy generation version 1 point 1.

What you can expect

We provide credits from IDBP that are recorded on the Gold Standard Impact Registry. You receive programme identifiers and the information needed to reference the source of the reduction. Current programme scale and results are summarised below. More than 29,851 biodigesters serve 163,176 beneficiaries, create 1,492 jobs, and contribute a total of 584,834 tCO₂e in greenhouse gas reductions as of August 2025.
